Some will ask you if you have voLTE phone/account . I do and I still experience lots of dropped calls with PM it’s normal for this place = cheap plans

Public mobile is aware and escalating the issue.

You can try the following fixes:

Manually select the phone network to 4G/LTE instead of Auto.

From a different forum (reddit, RFD), one customer had the following fix:

For iPhone:
settings>>>cellular>>>Primary>>>network selection>>> turn off automatic network selection and reboot

If that does not work, you may want to submit at ticket for CSA help. Sometimes CSA can refresh your account on the backend and calling works better.

@Jantwinz7399 It happened to me this week, at around 9 minute intervals each time with three beeps, the caller had to phone back each time. There are a couple of other threads on this the past few days. One thing I read about and am trying is turning off automatic in network selection and selecting Public Mobile manually. I haven't had a chance to try it out on a long enough call. In one of the other threads someone said they had tried this and the calls still drop. About the only thing you can do is submit a ticket to customer support at the chat icon bottom right of this page.

Reliable voice service is apparently only available on PM using older hspa devices. I can make and receive calls fine on older 3G phones, but anything that has volte capability results in frequent call disconnects.
