no problems ever, did not make any changes ever, long time customer, my payment went up by $5.65 this month?

@hohawk Most likely because of the migration from $ rewards to the points system, which applies to everyone on the old system this month. So you start off paying the full amount of your plan while you accumulate points, 1 point = $1, which you can redeem for bill credits or discounted add ons when you have enough. If you were on anything other than the $15 plan you might be able to go back to what you were paying before by changing plans, e.g. the $25 plan could be changed to the new $19 plan which has the same amount of data but at 4G speed. You have to log in to your account to see it.

you were wondering where the autopay/loyalty discount/friend rewards gone? PM has ended that old system and moved everyone to the new Public Points!!

So, now you have to pay full price first and PM will give you back points after. Instead of loyalty rewards monthly, you get 10 points per year on your anniversary date with Public Mobile. Instead of $2 autopay discount, you get 5% of your plan in points.

And the points are useful to reduce the bill. After you got 15+ points, you will go to rewards site to redeem 15 points for $15 bill credit

@hohawk yes, Public Mobile ended that loyalty program as of May 2024.

Now we all have have to pay our original plan amounts each month.

ok my bad, I want the $19 plan. there is change now-charge now $21.47 option or change upon renewal? what happens to the $28.25 payment i just made if i charge now? and or what, when is renewal?

@hohawk Select change on renewal. If you select change now you will lose what you just paid and be charged again. The next renewal date should show in your account, that's when the $19 plan would kick in if you select change on renewal.
