I know Public changed to a new rewards system, but what happened to my previous rewards?? I've been with these guys for a number of years and only have the basic plan because I seldom use it. Between renewal and referral rewards my bill before tax was only $6 - this month it went to $15 --- seems a bit unfair.

It looks like you have been customer for 5 years. The $5 you would have gotten each month under old legacy award is gone and will never come back. Once a year on your anniversary, you will get 10 points. It looks like your anniversary just passed so you may have to wait until next year. I don't know because this new rewards is so new.

Each month, after you renew, you will get 5% or 0.75 points on a $15 plan and 1 point for any still active renewals.

When you have accumulated 15 points, you can covert them into a $15 bill credit to reduce your payment. Or you can use the points to redeem them for stuff like minutes, data, etc. Good luck.

I've gone from paying $9 to $17 after tax. It's not fair even with the 5GB bonus they gave us, but in this economy i don't even know what company can provide a better plan...

The "ethical" company wants to stay in business and can't do that by giving out $6 plans. Yes it's unfortunate, but it makes sense. You can still cash your points in for account credits in 15 points ($15) increments.

That's a bargain to get a new customer. If someeone has referred 100 customers, it makes no difference to Public Mobile if those 100 new customers were referred by one person or 100 different existing customers.
