I’m interested in buying a new Public Mobile plan that advertises a free eSIM. My iPhone 8 does not have eSIM capability.

Would this affect my purchase of the plan in any way? I assume I’d be able to buy the same plan but with a regular SIM card. Does this sound correct?

Your best bet is to buy a physical sim card form telus/koodo store or mobile klinik. Then contact a CS agent and they may credit you the cost of the sim card.
