And if you do try to call outside your provice/country without an active long distance add-on, you will get an "you can't be connected" message. You don't have to worry about extra long d charges as PM is prepaid based.

If I'm calling from a 905 area code line do I need to dial 1+ to call 416/705/905/519/etc?

Does the call connect automatically without dialing the 1+ 10 digits?

The promo plan will cover long distance within the province so from 905 you can call any other area code within Ontario. You only need to dial the 10 digits, no need for the +1 prefix.

Agreed, you only need to dial the 10 digits. However, you will then get the "long distance charges may apply" message. Just ignore the message, your call will go through (with no extra charges),

Yup... I've been in the habit of just putting +1 in front of every number I have in my contacts, to avoid the "long distance charges may apply" message.
