I received a phone call telling me that it did not go through because I entered the wrong EIMI number and they require my previous account number. I do not know where to enter that information.

I received a phone call from Telus about them needing my previous account number but when I called back they responded that say that they don't deal with Public

Some numbers can't be ported. Have you ported this number before? What provider is it. Try this should tell you if it can be ported

https://secure.koodomobile.com/checktransfereligibilityparrot/default.do?lang=en&appname=otherportal
