Using public mobile in the US.

Hello , I am going to be visiting the USA , mainly the Midwest area . Can anyone confirm the $34 month plan can actually used in the USA without extra Add-on charges with making calls , sending texts and using the 50GB data provided.

Yes, it can be used if you are on the Canada-US plan

just make sure to toggle your roaming switch on and you may need to connect to either T-Mobile or AT&T.

The great thing about prepaid services is you never charged extra or roaming or any surprise charges

@Moe41690 nothing else would be needed with the can-us plan. You can use it in both countries.

You have a VoLTE enabled phone?

Tou would put your phone to 4G/LTE and connect to T-Mobile or AT&T.

If calls don't work, put your phone to 2G and connect to T-Mobile. From the settings menu, turn on data roaming.

Might have to restart if it doesn't work the first time. Make sure phone is updated with latest updates.

@Moe41690 - You will receive an SMS when in the states asking to get roaming add-ons, just ignore that if your are on a Canada US plan.

Turn data roaming on, set preferred network to 4G (because AT&T 5G doesn't work), and enjoy the service. If you don't automatically connect to AT&T or T-Mobile, connect manually.
