Can i switch to the new plan of 30/30 with 1gb data?

im currently on 30$ plan with only 500 data.

also as the website mentioned that the promotion will end on the start of april, do i have to end my current plan to get onto the 1gb plan?

Sorry you will have to starts a new account.

You could probably get it but it will take a bit of work and a small amount of money.

First, you would need to get a PM SIM and activate it with the plan and a new number.

Second, pick up a bell prepaid SIM and use it to port out your PM # from the 500 Mb plan. Cost would only be a SIM as no balance is required to port in a number. Plus whatever time you have paid for on PM.

Third, port number from bell SIM that you just ported from PM into the new account with the 1 GB plan.

Not sure if you will think it's worth the work.

+1. Chatr is offering free service for a month right now. Porting to Chatr and back could save the cost, but not the hassle.

If you don't care to keep your phone number, you could also just get a SIM and activate it on the $30 plan, and cancel your existing account.
