7 year old sim card

i have a 7-year-old public mobile sim card, it has never been activated. can it be used to set up a new account? I know at the time it was only 3g and now there is 4g and 5g, so should it work?

I guess it should work unless PM changed something in their SIM cards.

There are no expiry date on your SIM card.

SIM Card will work on 4G/LTE or 5G as 3G plans was removed today from the PM website.

@BKNS27 3G plans are gone for new customers, but the 3G network is still kicking and we're all able to connect to it.
