just download the free PM app, log in to your PM account and buy the esim. Make sure you're aware that esim is only used 1 time. If you change phones...you need a new esim whereas hard sim can just be re-used.

so, it is free to get a new esim now? According to the link you sent, it said "When you request a new eSIM through the usual process, we automatically identify you as an existing eSIM user and waive the replacement fee. "

I can't confirm this with personal experience but if the help article says so, it must be so. If not, there is a dispute mechanism in place to make it so.
