      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am new to smartphones, just got my first. Activated my public mobile account a month ago, but haven't been able to get my data portion to work except when on WiFi. Phone works, but can't get text or email until I get connected to WiFi. Any thoughts on what's wrong here?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It is an off brand phone (UMIDIGI Bison 10X) with Android 11&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mobile Data is on, and network is set (and reset) to Public Mobile&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have wifi turned off for the moment, but it is usually on because4 that is the only time I can receive email and texts. Otherwise, my phone (talk) works anywhere.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am on my desktop right now (talking to you), and working on the phone settings beside me.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Here's one issue I see right away. "Public" is on the Telus network. When I go to the networks settings I see two options: 1) TELUS SP, and 2) TELUS Services.&amp;nbsp; It is set on #2, and I see yout APN settings suggest TELUS SP, so I'll make the switch right now and try to put in your recommended settings&lt;/P&gt;</description>
