you won't have any Public Mobile service in Mexico. You'd need a cheap Mex plan or maybe use voip app such as TextNow....that's what I've used or WhatsApp.

@Rachelle33 Sorry PM only has roaming in the US . Your best to get local pre paid SIM card in Mexico for your trip

So how does it work. So the cheast would be to get a sim and plan in Mexico and use TextNow or WhatsApp

Pretty much all communication tools and apps have some. privacy issue. Just use at your own risk. 🙂
