add on minutes

i added on 500 Canada wide minutes to my plan. Do they go into effect right away? How do i know I have these extra minutes without running out first?

The way add-ons work is first your plan minutes are used and if they completely finish them then that’s when your add-on kicks in. Keep in mind they expire is 150 days so be sure to use them so they don’t expire.

Yes, add-on should become active right away. Refresh PM page to see it on your account.

As I know, minutes do NOT expire in 150 days. ONLY loyalty reward data expires in 150 days.
AND data add-on expires in 30 days.

This was my understanding too. Unless they've changed this on us as well. I went through the fine print, most of it is very outdated. I just purchased one of these and it didn't tell me anything about an expire date. Therefore, there should be no expire date on those.
