if there's a Mobile Klinik or Telus Retail in your area, consider buying a PM sim there. Then get your PM account activated and message Customer Support to credit your account for the sim you had to buy. Save that sim and gift it to a family member or friend who wants to save $$ on a PM account as well.

Another option would be to buy a PM SIM card from Amazon at $4.99 If you have Prime delivery, it's quite fast.
