Just received another 5 free GB of data for loyalty or whatever. It adds to the almost 2 GB we have had for quite some time and only use sparingly. The 2 GB is undated as to expiry. The 5 new GB expire in 150 days. Any way to get to use first the 5 GB which will expire and leave the others untouched and available long term? Thanks for a response.

@MacnMar if you got the 2Gb as Christmas bonus, it should not expire

the 5Gb will expire in 150 days, the system also set to use that 5GB before your other non expiring add-on

In case you're not aware, that 5GB data is being given as compensation due to the fact the Public Mobile is taking the old rewards program away. In May, your bill will no longer be automatically discounted with loyalty and other rewards.

This 5gb is a "gift" as PM will be taking away your $2 auto-pay and Up to $5 loyalty rewards away and force you onto the new points system. The only way to use points towards bills is to log in and convert points to payments once you've collected 15 points.

I've seen some.people.mention the "gift" Data is used first, but I've not seen that confirmed by PM

Isn’t it 240GB free for 150 days instead of 5GB?

Under the "Add-Ons Usage" section, it shows this:

5 GB Data

Loyalty Bonus 5GB

5 GB Data Left

137/150 Days Left

Anyway, that's more than enough for our needs. We still have bunches left of the original data "gift" given some time back.

It's just that, since the original is still largely in place, it would be good to have any use in these next 137 days be deducted from the latest 5GB which can and will disappear at the end of the 150-day period.
