@Gigsdo You still get 1 point ($1) per referral, you get 10 points ($10) each year you stay, and 5% back in points/$ for each $ you spend on your plan etc. You also get points for answering questions etc. in the community but you have to do quite a lot to get much. Once you have accumulated 15 points you can use it to take $15 off your bill.

It’s meant to be - the hidden goal is to have many not bother with it.

Because it’s user-managed (as opposed to automatic), many will not bother.

Thus MORE in the pockets of TELUS and shareholders.
