I need help, please!!

I'm new to public mobile and idk if this is normal but for some reason whenever I text my mum or sister my I'm texting from a different number than I'm calling from? The number im calling from is the one in my account but not the one im texting from. But it only happens when them so far and nobody else?? It's so confusing and idk if this is a their phone thing or a public mobile thing? They have the same model of device Motorola Edge 2023, if if it's just their devices doing it or what. I need help idk what's up as I've never had this happen with my last company I was with.

@destiel can you try your PM sim in another phone and text your mom and sis and see what number showing on their phone?

@destiel , by chance did you transfer your number to Public Mobile? It looks like your port might have failed.

No, I got a brand new number from public mobile.

it sounds like you were using RCS and it was a problem with RCS

Try disabling chat features, then reboot the phone with chat features disabled, and re-enabling chat features after a few minutes

If you check the SIM status on the phone settings, what phone number do you see? That should be the number your phone is picking up from the network. Toggle airplane mode before doing the SIM status check.

I did that and it seems to work in my iPhone from the correct number but not my Samsung
