what model is your phone?

generally if your phones works on PM, data should work for roaming

voice is hard to tell, if yours an another one, not VoLTE compatble and whitelisted, you will need to use the unreliable T-Mobile 2G network

My renewal is confusing. My data renews first of the month, but it says my subscription is 14 -13th. I leave Saturday, the 23rd. So neither works. I could do the add on, but I'm 3g. Many say it won't work.

A13 is not old. It can roam in US well

for voice, you just might need to use T-mobile's 2G network

So, you have a Cnaada-US plan now?

A13 is not a 3G phone.

you meant you have a 3G plan? you can still buy US roaming addon and use LTE network (the 3G plan is just 3G speed, you can use 4G on PM network as well)

I am not very techie with these. My network is on LTE/WCDMA/GSM
I always thought the 3g was like 4G and 5G.

LTE is 4G

you can leave the settings like that. and yes, you have a 4G phone

Oh! thanks, didn't know. The plan is 3G, international texting, 250mb of data.
