I just tested to verify your concern.

I sent MMS (picture) from Android to Android with NO problems whatsoever. Both phones are rather old models. And I have used Native texting app - one which came with the phone OS.

DATA has to be ON in order for MMS to go through.

To be very clear and direct, this issue is occurring for both recent(new) and existing Referrals of mine. Here are two examples.

1. Husband: Samsung S10e, Wife: iPhone SE 2020 - They have both been with Public Mobile for 6+ months and have had no problem sending pictures back and forth to each other until just these last two weeks when her iPhone says 'Failed to send' any pictures to him. Both Devices have Mobile Data enabled and all the right settings turned on, it just randomly quit working!! Any pictures sent from the S10e to the iPhone say they went through and are delivered but never come through on the iPhone...

2. My Grandma, using an iPhone 8 Plus is trying to send me a picture and can't (experiencing the same issue) after switching to Public Mobile within the last week. I'm using a Samsung S24 Ultra so it's green messages.

Now I know some Devices have been removed recently from support of this feature.. however the iPhone SE 2020, iPhone 8 Plus, and S10e all still support this.

Many other Referrals are also complaining with a wide variety of supported devices..

What in the world is going on?

My mom is with Public Mobile as well as me, she's using an iPhone 13 Pro and has no problems sending me pictures and neither do my sisters on the iPhone 11 & Xr, so it's affecting very select few users it seems.

I wish that I had a suggestion for you that you haven’t tried. There was an announcement “Picture and Group Messaging End Date | Feb 14” posted on January 26 about this but even those that should work & be supported are having issues for some reason even after changing the devices APN settings! Of course for those like myself & @Priority, his referrals & grandmother have iPhones there is no option to change the APN settings & those devices are also still supported! Even though the iPhone’s have the latest iOS software update! So something is seriously wrong here!
