@MSChaudhry Sorry public mobile only has roaming in the US with add on . Your best to get local pre paid SIM card in your destination.

Thats strange. Public mobile didnt gave this information when I transferred. I clearly told them that I am trabelling

@MSChaudhry Please note most a customer like you trying to help . But sadly no public mobile isn’t a good fit of your travel often , unless it’s the U.S.

As mentioned, Public Mobile does not work outside of Canada and the United States. The only option you can do is pick up a SIM card locally and use that or if you can do eSIM, here's a decent plan. https://www.airalo.com/saudi-arabia-esim

On a side note, if you have an iPhone, getting a data plan only will still help you still get your iMessages. Even though Public Mobile does not work in Saudi, iMessage work differently. If you have an Android phone, you're out of luck. And finally, if you DO have an Android, the only real option I can suggest is to use a VPN on your phone, choose Canada as an IP address and then proceed to download TextNow. It's an app used in Canada for VOIP and texting. As long as your VPN is on, you'll be able to contact back to Canada for free, just not with your Public Mobile number, just the TextNow number. But it will have access to your contact list so when you text back home to Canada, just say... Hey it's @MSChaudhry . I'm in Saudi and I am using this app while I'm here... or something like that. Hope this helps.

Usually we need to do our research to understand what offers and compare with other possible choices

To transfer out, make sure your PM account is active, so if you want to port out, do it at least couple days before your current cycle end date

I'm not sure who you spoke to, however, anyone here on the forums and any CS Agent you speak to will tell you Public Mobile does not work for travelling except to the US. There really is nobody to "speak" to.
