@Bob930 You will be able to port the number over during or after activating the SIM on the public mobile app . Keeping the Telus SIM in the phone to reply YES to the conformal text to port .

1. Buy a PM SIM

2. Keep your Telus SIM in your phone.

3. Activate the PM SIM online

4. When you get a text from Telus confirming your switch to PM, reply with a YES.

5. Power off your phone, switch out the Telus SIM for the PM SIM.

6. Power your phone back on.
