5G Compatibility

Recently upgraded to 5G effective March 10. Although I’m seeing the extra data component, I’m still seeing 3G on my phone. In checking through Public Mobile customer support and asking the question, the answer is to check if my phone has 5G capability and that 5G is available in my area. I have an iPhone 11 and live in Sydney NS. How would I know if my phone is 5G compatible and if the service is available in my area? I assumed the 5G service is available in my area.

The iPhone 11 is not a 5G capable device, but you can still get near 5G speeds with a 4G phone. If you're only getting 3G speed, it may be because you have your phone set to 3G. Check your device settings.
