Canada-US Promotion.

Hi there, I currently have Canada 60 GB at 5G with unlimited calling. Looking at the promotion for the US that seems too good to be true. Same money at 60 GB.

Questions:

This allows unlimited calling in the US as well as US to Canada?

I have an old iphone 8. Do I need to get a new physical SIM?

2. you don't need new physical sim. But how old is your iPhone? older phone cannot use VoLTE and that would affect your voice calls. So, depends how old your iPhone is

Yes it will work in both countries and you don’t need a new SIM. Your old SIM will switch to the new plan but switch the plan on your Next Renewal Date.

If you switch Now, you will be charged for current plan and new plan.

It seems the $34 Canada-US promotion ended last night.

The current promo is $39 for 60 GB within Canada and the US Data at 5G Speed.

Or pay $1 more for 75 GB within Canada and the US Data at 5G Speed.

Both include Unlimited Canada-US wide minutes.

The $39 60GB CAN/US is a waste of time as for $1 ($40) more you can get an extra 15GB + everything else the $39 plan offers.

Of course if you don't need the extra 15GB and want to save $12 a yr, then the $39 plan makes sense.

My phone is the iphone 8, although I may be upgrading to a friend's old iphone 12.
