@Danhof90 Sorry PM doesn’t have wifi calling . You would need Koodo or Telus for that feature . Also PM is pre paid so you can only use what you have paid for so you will never have any surprise bills.

Thank you. I've been with public mobile for several years now, and about a year ago we moved out of the city, now we're in the country, in a new build, and we have like almost zero cell service here

Rumor has it that Wifi Calling is coming to PM some time this yr. I guess we'll find out....

That would be nice, except I am kind of fed up with sitting at my front door every time I make a phone call because the rest of the house has no reception. I don't really feel like waiting it could be like October November by the time they get around to have. I'm ready to make the switch to a provider that will support this now not who knows when. I appreciate the comment, I'm not trying to underscore what you're saying it's just ridiculous that they still don't have it I find it

@Danhof90 If I were in your situation I would not wait on a possibility that it might come later. I would switch now to a provider that does have wifi calling.

@Danhof90 I didn't even know what WIFI Calling was until about a week ago lol

It's a nice feature and I am sure I'll use it if/when PM gets it, but for now I am not worried about it. If you don't have any reception then ya I can see why that would be a problem, but didn't you do any research on this before joining PM? If WIFI Calling is that important to you, that would have been one of the first things I would have made sure PM had before joining. I am not trying to be rude, just surprised that you didn't verify that before joining.

with PM being Tier 3 provider, I don't think Wifi calling will ever come.

Yeah no worries I understand why you would'd be asking that. When I had lived in the city I have public mobile for several years and the service was great it was never an issue. It was not something that I put much thought into when we had moved out of the city. Hi I guess I I'm taking a hard lesson from the School of hard knocks LOL

Nobody at Public Mobile has made any statement about this. Where did you hear this?

Could these rumors about timing end up being right? That's possible, but I could I also say that there start a rumor (I am completely making up this example from thin air) about a fictional $25 plan that includes 50GB of data. Could it happen? Yes, it could end up being true, but without stating a source, this all means essentially nothing.
