Last week I subscribed to the $40.00 for Unlimited Canada-US wide minutes + 75GB Data at 5G Speed plan. Previously I had 3G service with the lowest data plan (like 500 MB or less).

I have only got 3G service on my phone since I subscribed. Do I need to reset my phone or something?

I have an iPhone XR purchased a few years ago through Bell.

I live in Montreal, go around on the Metro and downtown -- everywhere 5G service should be available right?

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you have your phone set to lock on 3G, which I wouldn't advise even if you're on a 3G plan.

As noted, the iPhone XR is not a 5G phone. You can set it to LTE/4G in your network settings though, and you can still enjoy 5G speed.
