two sim card questoins

I have public sim card and X company sim card. After I transfer my Public number to X company what happen to my public sim card? will it automatically got a new number so i can use it still? if not how can i make it work? because I would like to keep my old public plan and want use it on another phone.

Hey @pm234

The SIM card will be a very tiny paper weight. Once your PM number is ported out, your account is therefore closed and the SIM is garbage. No way to resuse it.
