Test it by turning off wifi and set phone to LTE . Now make a call does it stay in LTE or drop to 3G if it drops then voLTE not enabled and you most likely will run into issues . If it stays on LTE bingo and keep phone set to LTE and connect to T mobile or AT&T

Hi Everyone,

In October 2023 I went down to the US and my data wasn't working. I'm writing about this because I am going to the US again in a few weeks.

It said I was connected to either AT&T and other networks but it still wasn't working. I submitted a ticket and a public mobile agent did something and told me to restart my phone. After restarting my phone it started working, but it stopped working 10 minutes after that. For the rest of the trip I had to toggle my data on/off so it could reconnect and I could use my data for 10 minutes before it stopped working again.

I'm wondering if this will still be an issue. I have a google pixel 6a.

Am I better off buying a physical sim card at the airport or purchasing an esim off of Airalo?

Thanks for your help!

Also, turn off 5G, change the network to 4G or LTE
