Battery drain after APN setting changes

Hi there,

After I updated the APN settings per instructions from Public Mobile, my Samsung S9+ phone battery started draining very fast?

Is there a reason for that, or is it pure coincident?

@wuleicanada Coincidence I’d say . But if you have your phone in 5G instead of 4G/LTE you could notice the battery drain faster and phone run warmer

Data does drain more then then WiFi but there shouldn’t be excessive battery drain. It should be a coincidence. Perhaps it’s just a battery going bad.
