US-CANADA 50G plan for old customers

The new US-CANADA 50G plan seems very attractive especially it's available for existing customers. But I have seen that it mentions will earn $1.7 in points value on the plan description. Does it mean that I will be converted to the points system after I switch to this plan? I am having $7 reduction each month with $34 40G plan now. Not sure if it's worth to give up my rebate for this plan as the point system is really not as good as the old reward system.

@mavis20 You will keep your old rewards no worries I changed to this plan and kept my old rewards

if you currently get Rewards..you'll still gettem after you change plans. Just never opt for POints...ever.
