topic Port IN in Get Support

Just a recent experience to be shared with community...

Just transferred number from VOIP land line to P.M. it takes 2 to 3 business days for the process of porting to finish. The C.S. mods can't really change the speed for that..

Usually it doesn't require much attention.. Contrary to both phone services not working, I had experience both service were continually working since the minute I started the process to transfer phone number.. EXCEPT, the automated messages like 2FA from P.M. EVER SAFE were not coming to the P.M. device.. If I Had to check my account or community, had to ask for code to come on the email. Hopefully, it should continue with all the 2FA's. But after the porting process was finished, one would like to keep an eye out for cancellation of your previous provider. because if both the services were working at the same time,, if you don't make sure that the previous provider cancelled your account or not, you might even be charged from their end.. and you wouldn't want to pay two bills specially when came for Public Mobile thinking to pay lot less money for bills...😉 so, after you get the SMS from P.M. saying you should restart your device, (which is final confirmation that your service with P.M. is up and functional.) you should call your previous provider and make sure the service with them is deactivated and no charge after that from them.
