While in the US using the 15 day US roaming add on, am I able to call Canada for free?

HI @Pengwen51 depends on the US romaing you got

if you only get the US data roaming, then no

But if you get the Talk-Text roaming or the Bundle (data/talk/text) roaming , then yes, you can call back Canada for free

make sure you have a VOLTE enabled phone for best talkability...otherwise you'll have to have a phone that can drop to 2G for all calls in US.
