Cannot send text

In the past few weeks I'm unable to send texts from home. Most the time the icon shows that i don't have a data connection. I have wifi (if that is an option) - but doesn't use it. I'm using the $25. plan.

what kinda phone you using ? Have you trying using 4G, LTE or 5G to see if either improves things ?

Motorola g7 power

Set to support LTE/GSM etc. No option for setting to G?

But i did try several of the many networking options and none fixed the problem

I would turn Cel Service off and strictly use Wifi at home that way it’s not bouncing back and forth between services. Contact Support Will help with this too.
