add on US roaming

Hi, please help me understand how the US add on work. I am travelling form east coast Canada to Florida and paid the activation today. I tried to make a phone call to the US but it said I have used up my minutes and please subscribe to activate. I have log into my account and it shows zero minutes used. Is there a reason why I can't call from Canada to US and why it says i have no minutes when I just activated the add on. Also, my phone has been restarted a few times. I have 2 phones{Iphone/Samsung}activated with US roaming and both phone saying the same thing.

Is this add on only works when you are in US?? Please help!

US add-on works Only when you are in USA. It is used to call From USA and within USA.
This is not to call USA. For that you have to buy US minutes to call From Canada. Those minutes do not work in USA only FROM Canada.

Correct, the US roaming add on only works while you are in the United States.

You will need to purchase a USA calling add on for calling within Canada.
