Can someone tell me if the above plan includes calling while, in the states?

yes all Canada US plans include unlimited calling to UsS and Canada , and incoming calls

The question you really have to ask yourself @Donna1154 is the difference between a Canada US plan vs a plan that you'll use here more often in Canada and then just purchasing US add ons when going to the US. We could be talking about saving hundreds here. Do the math first vs how many times you plan on attending the US.

I was planning to use this plan for the months I'm in the states, then switch to a different plan

Sadly, it seems no matter what I do, it doesn't work. I'm afraid to switch it now for fear I'll have nothing.
