4G roaming plan not connecting phone calls

We are on holiday in US from Canada. Purchased roaming/data/phone plan. Data &texting work but phone won't connect. I upgraded to 4G to make this work. Help please

Hi, try the following.

If calls still don't work, put your phone to 2G and connect to T-Mobile. From the settings menu. Roaming on.

You will need to connect to AT&T or T-Mobile network with Roamed ng enabled in your cellular settings.

Also, enable VoLTE settings.
What is the make and model of your phone if you need help with the settings?

Does your phone have VOLTE? If not you will only be able to connect to T-Mobile's 2G network for voice calls. If so download Textnow and choose a Canadian phone #. You can then use the 4G LTE network for voice calls.

Check if your phone is on Public Mobile's whitelist.

i do not have volte but am on lte network. Ttried T mobile but did not make a difference.
