I love the Outlook app. IMOH it beats out all email apps. I never had any issues with it. If i feel something isn't right, i just reset the account from settings. For you problem, it looks like some of your emails are not loading probably due to their contents. Are you able to open those emails on wifi?

BTW, emails are never stored on a local device. Attachments you download from emails are stored locally on your phone.

@mimmowrote:

@NDesai I have the outlook app installed(Android) why do you feel it is better than Gmail? Thinking of trying it out.

For a single account, Gmail is fine. But i have about 3-4 emails including work email that are added into the same app. The interface and design is much better than any other email apps. Many times with Gmail app, i stop getting notifications and when i open the app, it starts loading for a few seconds to load new emails. And the layout including the fonts and colors are just not my type. So just small things like that annoys me, and that is why i think outlook outperforms other apps.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Outlook allows you to set separate notification settings for each email account you have added.
