Using your own cellphone in Mexico !

I will be going to Mexico for a month…When I go I usually buy a simcard from telcel and for a package that costs me 200 pesos, I can talk to anyone in North America unlimited time and that is incredibly cheap…Now what does Public have to offer me with my Public simcard so that I can use my own phone over there…Please explain all and the price for this service ?

no roaming service for PM there

to call free, use VoIP app TextNow and you can make free calls and text using the app with wifi

@bobarama Best to do the same thing or just get local pre paid SIM card in Mexico . pM only has roaming in the U.S.

@bobarama please keep using pesos. PM doesn't work in Mexico. No service there.

Public roaming offers roaming in U.S, not mexico.

before going south, download the free TextNow app. Using wifi or separately purchased data, you'll be able to call / text most any US or Cdn number for gratis. Works great in Mx.
