Sim carrier not supported

So I just switched from samsung to apple, and when I take my sim card out of my samsung an put in into my iphone it says that the carrier is not supported, and I should either try again or contact the carrier. It still didn't work when I tried again, the phone itself is fully setup, and the chatbot was pretty useless, so I'm here now. What do I do? I can't even call public mobile for a new card, I don't know how I should get a new card that is compatible with an iphone. Help?

Hey @Michael38 Do as @HALIMACS suggests by resetting the networks. Just know if you have saved any WiFi log ins and passwords also including any bluetooth, you will lose that information and have to reset it all again. But when you do reset them, reboot the phone with the SIM in it.

If you're using iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If you're using iOS or iPadOS 14 or earlier, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

On a side note, you should update your iOS while you're at it. BTW, welcome to the Dark Side! 🙂
