I’m traveling to the US for only a day trip. Is there an add-on option for just 1day of talk text and data? Like when I cross the border will I get a notification and option to add something on?

@Caithilds Sorry no one day option all US roaming options are 15 days long and start immediately after purchased . So best to add it right before you leave

There are no one day options. I wouldpurchase the add-on you before you cross the border, as you will only have service as long as you can stay connected to a tower within Canada without a roaming package.

If you can get away with data only, Airalo and Ubigi offer esim travel plans with daily options for a few bucks.

You have a couple of option with TextNow. You can get free calling and texting by using the TextNow app when connected to free wifi.

Or use the TextNow SIM for free calling and texting without connected to wifi. I picked a U.S. area code for my number to keep it separate from my PM Canadian area code. SIM is $4.99 but there is a catch…need a US address and US CC. Got a relative to order for me.

Data is reasonable too starting at $4.99 for daily unlimited data or monthly data add-on.
