Any chance this phone is in contract with bell ? Best to start with them and ask if it is say you want to be able to use your other SIM card in the phone&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But when in contract or it’s a bring it back device might have different rules attached so someone doesn’t just sign up for a new phone and take it to a new carrier with out the contract being fulfilled possibly.       <description>&lt;P&gt;There's a 2020 article on Mobilsyrup that says Bell and Virgin stock locked phones and only unlock them during the activation process:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A title="https://mobilesyrup.com/2020/04/21/rogers-fido-devices-unlocking-rules/" href="https://mobilesyrup.com/2020/04/21/rogers-fido-devices-unlocking-rules/" target="_self"&gt;https://mobilesyrup.com/2020/04/21/rogers-fido-devices-unlocking-rules/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No &amp;nbsp;idea whether that's still the case but you can check the phone in settings - general - about then scroll down for carrier lock. &amp;nbsp;If it's unlocked it should say no sim restrictions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
