Not receiving calls form Private Numbers

My therapist uses a private number when they call me.

Ever since I switched to Public Mobile their calls don't come through, I don't even receive a missed called notification, its just nothing. All other calls come through just fine except private numbers.

I am worried this will happen with future doctors and ill keep missing important calls for my health. 😢

I don't know how to fix this, please help.

would those calls gone to the voicemail?

new phone has "silent unknown caller" feather, it will send those unknown caller or those not on your contacts to voicemail. Check your phone

No unfortunately they do not.

My phone is 3 years old and I don't have any such feature on. This issue began when I switched to Public Mobile. When I was with my last provider I used the same phone and the calls came through just fine.

@Lana_L Very weird situation indeed. My guess is this has something to do with phone as @hTideGnow suggested. Could you tell us the phone type that you are using (iPhone, Android)? If it's Android, when you go to your call settings there's a toggle which you have to make sure you have disabled (see screenshot)

Hey! Yes i checked that and its all turned off for me. But you know what i just did a test just now with a friends number and a private call did go through! Maybe the culprit was my therapists phone/settings! Thank you so much for your help I will sort it out with them I think Private Mobile is not the problem! Thankkkkkk you all!!

@Lana_L There have been two or three people on here who had problems getting calls from certain landlines. If you think your therapist is calling from a landline maybe get someone else you know with a landline to try calling you and see what happens.

Also you can try turning off setting one level below (Block spam and scam calls) to see if that will make a difference with your therapists number. I don't know how the phone does determine a caller as spam or scam exactly so it's worth a try.
