I am an OG PM customer...on a 3 month prepaid plan with $21 in rewards!

If I manage to get CS to ok a switch to the $34 50gb 5g plan will my rewards to gone? Anyway I can retain my rewards and not switch to public points but get a better plan?

Yes you can keep your rewards. Make sure to tell them you don't want to switch to the points system, but remain on rewards.

@CBrooke you will still enjoy the same amount of monthly discount

Rewards are tied with account and not plan. Changing plan won't affect rewards and you will still stay on the same rewards system

In my account I have an offer for 60gb 5g for $40...thinking I should switch to that then?

@CBrooke yes, it is a good plan for that data amount

if you are changing, use Change on Renewal instead of Change Now to avoid losing money from early plan change

That is a good price. If you think you need all that data then go for it!

The only drawback is that I have read that once you switch with cs agent they do the change as of now, so you will loose the money paid mid cycle. When you change yourself you have the option to Change on Renewal. But you have to weigh the costs.

The $34 (or even $29) promo would be better so I'll wait a bit and see if CS responds.
