nicknames under the name?

Hi,

I new here so please bear with me. I noticed everyone has a nickname under their own name. Such as good, neighbour, good citizen, model citizen, deputy/mayor etc.

What are the names referring to? some sort of status on the community threads?

Community member status depending on past activity on the forum. No real significance (ie. rewards). Just a way of showing community participation
