If I have a Samsung A8 that is only 4G capable and purchase a 5G plan (as I plan to upgrade the phone in a few months) Will the phone just use data at the 4G level or do I have to find a 4G plan.

Thanks for the feed back. I was pretty sure but I know there are different versions of the A8 so I will read your example

Thanks

Ah thanks. I missed this point, but looking again the specs say that Samsung A8 as LTE Cat 11. And at LTE Cat 9 the maximum download speed is 450Mbps (https://kenstechtips.com/index.php/download-speeds-2g-3g-and-4g-actual-meaning)

So I think this phone should be more than capable. Correct me if I am wrong. 🙂
