Not able to complete some calls

My wife’s phone isn’t able to call her moms phone as of dec 23 ..3 years no problems.SHe can only text and is able to call everyone else.Also our friend is with public mobile and can’t call anyone this week?we have removed the SIM card and reset the iPhone and no difference d she isn’t blocked .. is something wrong with public mobile system.. please help

@Redred123 can she receive call?? is she on $15 plan with limited outgoing calls mins??

any error recording message or just busy signal??

test her PM sim in another phone

if issue persists, pleas open ticket with PM support and ask them to investigate

Opps, outage will also effect texting.

is the calling problem for all outbound calls??

please try the sim card in another phone, Nd also test the phone in another area

That really sounds like the receiving end has blocked the incoming number. You said you have checked for that but I'm not clear on whether you are describing your wife's problem or the friend's for that. Has the friend verified that their account is paid up and not suspended?
