Immediately get 'Call Ended' when trying to make calls while roaming in the US.Can text and use data

With a Moto G7 Play, trying to make calls in the USA. Re-booted after the flight landed, can use data and text but when I try to make a call I immediately get the message "Call ended". Can receive texts but cannot receive calls. On LTE OK. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

@Snowdog49 Try connecting to T mobile and set phone to 2G for voice . Guessing your phone doesn’t have voLTE . If it did LTE should work with TMobile or AT&T

try connect T-Mobile and AT&T and make call on each network and see if works

if not, connect to T-Mobile and also change network to 2G

still not work?? download voip app TextNow and use it to make calls first for now

OK great. I selected "2G" and it started working! (Not sure how to select T mobile network.)
