How does a new subscriber buy a sim for 5$ special?

When following the sim purchase link, the special price does not show in cart. The new subscriber does not want to purchase plan and activate until last week prior to renewal of their existing service.

Is there no option to collect sim and use when most economical?

@Rob_ Check Amazon for PM sim card that usually have them on sale for $4.99 and then you can activate when your ready to

add also if the phone is eSIM compatible then they are free right from the activation no need to buy a sim in that case @Rob_

You can order SIM cards several ways.

You can order a Physical SIM directly from the Public Mobile website! You can have the card delivered straight to your address!
You can order a Physical SIM directly from Amazon! Shipping time tends to be quicker with Amazon.
You can order an eSIM (electronic SIM) directly from the Public Mobile App and start using it right away.
You can pick up a physical SIM card from a nearby store. To find out which stores near you sell physical SIM cards, you can go to https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/qc/pick-up-SIM and enter our postal code. The site will then suggest you stores closest to you that sell SIM cards.

you can order the sim card while you activate. There is an option to order sim card in step 2. I suggest you to choose the option to pickup in store as sim delivery via mail could be long

and a better choice would be to order sim card from Amazon. Also just $4.99 but it shops fast and trackable
