Hello,

Last week and today, been getting calls from my local area in Montreal. I missed the call and when I go to call back I get number is not assigned, please check the number, is this a scam? Something else? How to stop it? Thank you

@Pellki2025 So it’s just the number that’s calling you . You can call other contacts and business ? If you can then I wouldn’t worry to much about it and just ignore it . If it’s important they will leave a message

no worries, that is call Caller ID spoofing

Scammers fake the caller id number, that's why when you called back, either the person will say they didn't call you, which they really didn't, or will be number not assigned like what you got. So, you didn't missed anything

and no worries, it is not just you, scammers target everyone , not just you. And carriers can't do much to stop that either. Some people would use the phone feature to not to ring any number not on their contact list
