International Calling

This is a bit complicated....

Scenario:

I have two factor authentication to access something on my work laptop. It calls my current number with PM. I can travel overseas for a few weeks but have to leave the laptop behind.Can't risk corporate asset. I'm taking a second laptop. I can remote to the corp laptop but as soon as I do ,TFA is enforced. So it calls my PM #. I have an ESIM for the trip but I can't enable it until I get to the destination (Europe). By that time, I won't be able to access my account to change to my new temp esim number. Doesnt look like PM has any kind of international roaming. Any ideas?

Your Public Mobiles service won't be usable whie raaming anywhere but in the United States (roaming add-on or Canada-US plan required).

Here is a router that you can leave your PM SIM at home and remotely access your calls and texts on your iPhone or Android phone anywhere in the world.

It is pricey but if you travel around the world for business. This is the product for you.

Is it making a voice call to your PM line? One option would be to call forward your PM # to another Canadian number, either someone you trust or sign up with voip.ms or similar to have a # you can then handle. Alternatively can you leave the phone with someone? I don't know enough about eSIM to understand whether that complicates things; if it were a physical SIM I'd say you could consider sticking it in an old phone just for this.
