Clarification with Subscription

I have a question regarding different plans. I have an old plan - for $60 /month included is

2GB at 3G Speed

30-day plan

Unlimited International Text

Unlimited Talk to Canada and the US

US Romaing - Unlimited Text

US Roaming - Unlimited Talk

I need more data and was currently looking at the $65 CANADA-US plan but it includes

60GB within Canada and the US

Unlimited Canada and US wide minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture messaging

My question is - does this plan include US roaming? I just want to confirm that what this new plans states is that I can use data, minute and text in both Canada and the US and there is no fine print. I have never changed plans with public mobile and want to make sure I am reading this right.. can someone help confirm or negate? Thanks in advance 🙂

@AnnMich You're exactly right. The US-Canada plan includes US roaming. Effectively, it expands your service area to include both the US and Canada, without any restrictions in where you can use data, make/receive calls or send/recieve texts.

@AnnMich yes you would get US roaming with that plan. If you do decide to change to that plan, either do it the day before your current plan will renew for the next 30 days or select Change on Renewal. This will ensure that you get the full current month's usage. Changing mid cycle will auto debit immediately for the new and no credit for the unused amount of the old.

Once signed into your account, click on subscription, manage subscription to change.

@AnnMich .yes it has roaming built into the plan like the plan you have now except this is much more data and faster data . Just be sure to change plans for next renewal and not immediately so you don’t lose money on your current cycle

@AnnMich This is a perfect explanation by @dwh1. I am using this plan now while visiting in the US, and it's as if the CA-US border doesn't exist for PM with this account!

I've made and received calls and texts within the US and back to Canada. Before I left the same was true from Canada to the US.

Given that there are similar cheaper plans from other providers I only signed on for 1 month hoping PM will offer a better deal on Boxing Day or New Year's.
